How To Use The New TanEraser

SaltyBeach TanEraser Mousse
The long awaited TanEraser is finally here! I know many of you are probably wondering how this product works, how to use it properly, and how to get the best results! If so you're in the right place because I'm going to give all of you Beaches the best tips & tricks for using the TanEraser! And trust me when I say that once you use the it you'll never want to go back to traditional exfoliating methods again!

First let's touch on how it works and what's inside!

The TanEraser is Vegan Friendly - Cruelty Free - & Paraben Free!

Some of my favorite ingredients in the TanEraser include: Argan Oil, Macadamia Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Rosehip Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Cucumber Extract, Vitamin C & Vitamin E!

When the TanEraser is applied these oils will start soaking into your outer epidermal layer and begin to soften & condition your skin! This process allows trapped oil, sweat, (old tan), and dead skin cells to escape from our pores by loosening the underlying debris making them easier to extract.
Sign. Me. Up.

Did you know that excessive clogged pores can lead to a handful of unwanted skin conditions? And if your pores seem to be getting bigger as you get older, you're not imagining things: aging and SUN DAMAGE contribute to pore size by lack of support to the surrounding tissue which causes our pores to lose firmness and in turn appear larger.

SO. Ladies - I beg you. PLEASE stay out of the sun as much as possible, and wear sunscreen religiously EVERY DAY to prevent premature aging! Buy some self-tanner at Ulta, come get a spray tan, and for the love of God exfoliate your skin! (On a short side-note, this is EXACTLY why exfoliating your skin before your spray tan appointment is essential to make sure your spray tan absorbs evenly & lasts properly!)

Okay, rant over - back to the product.

In short the TanEraser works by:
Balancing our skins pH making a perfectly clean & even canvas for product applications
& Softening our epidermis which allows trapped debris to be released & brought to the surface.
This all works together to help us thoroughly cleanse our skin and wipe away all the junk that was trapped under there.

Now that our skin is clean, prepped, and balanced it's ready for a fresh tan!

I have to admit, I started SaltyBeach almost 3 years ago...and I had never heard of a tan eraser (besides Windex or a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - YIKES) until about 6 months ago!
I was skeptical to say the least because many of you know - once your spray tan is set that beach isn't going anywhere!! Which is why it took months of researching to find an "erasing" method that actually worked, wasn't overly harsh on our skin, and had safe+clean ingredients!

DOES IT WORK?
I know there's still some skepticism and questioning, does this product really work?
So I decided that I would spend an entire morning documenting how I personally use the TanEraser to show you guys the results first-hand! This included me filming myself cleaning my arms in the bathtub (which turned out to be harder than I thought) so you're welcome.

Let's start with some pictures. For reference I had a spray tan from last week that I never exfoliated off and then a 2nd layer of self-tan that I put on a few days ago for research purposes. Overall my arms and legs were looking pretty rough.
The first photo is a little harder to see how truly scaly and uneven my skin was. The closer photo of my arm however shows a better up view of the disturbing fading tan.

HOW TO APPLY
Since I had a 10+ day old spray tan + another layer of tan over that I knew some spots (especially dry areas: knees, armpits, elbows, wrists, etc.) were going to be stubborn.

What I recommend doing if you have similar stubborn areas is to:

-First apply a layer of the TanEraser with a tanning mitt all over using circular motions and make sure to really rub it in!
-After you're finished with your body go back to those problem areas and apply a 2nd generous layer with just your hands! I feel that the 2nd layer gives those stubborn spots an "extra dose" and helps to lift them out even better!
-Leave on for 5-10 minutes for best results.
Since I had multiple tan layers I waited a full 10 minutes!

The first picture shows how it should look after applying1 layer with a tanning mitt. And the second photo is after my 2nd layer using my hands.
Now for the good part which is the video. I made it detailed so that you can see first-hand the process before, during, and after!
Here are the results side by side once I was done!
In the first and last photos you can see how truly pale and scary my untanned skin looks next to the arm that had tanner left on it. And in the middle is the arm that I used the TanEraser on!

I hope that this helped everyone to understand and learn how the TanEraser works! I can't wait for all you beaches to try it!
